I’m Malik Adegbola, an art director based in Canada.

My work moves across visual storytelling, imagery direction, campaign creative, brand systems, digital design, and AI-assisted exploration. I care about how ideas become something people can actually feel. A strong image, a clear layout, the right piece of type, a quiet detail that makes everything feel more intentional.

A lot of my approach comes from paying attention. To people, places, objects, clothes, music, architecture, food, and the small everyday moments that carry personality. I’m drawn to work that feels considered, but not stiff. Polished, but still human.

For me, creative direction is about taste, clarity, and feeling. It is knowing what to add, what to remove, and how to shape an idea until it feels honest and memorable.

I’m also interested in how AI can support the creative process, especially as a tool for building mood, exploring imagery, and pushing ideas faster. But the tool is never the idea. The important part is still the eye, the edit, the story, and knowing what feels right.
